Branding an annual event that benefits the Museum’s acclaimed children’s education programs is an honor in itself. Founded in 1956, the Museum of Arts and Design collects, displays and documents contemporary and historic innovation in craft, art and design. The Ball marks the announcement of the winner of the juried Burke Prize. The $50,000 award is made to a contempory U.S. based artist and presented by a Pulitzer Prize winner.
Brand
In homage of their mission “to collect and display objects of contemporary and historic innovation in craft, art, and design”: We chose a series of elements to brand their annual gala, starting with the MAD Metal Ball, and later re-named Neon, and Paper Ball.
Strategy
Working with our public relations partner and the museum’s committee of art legends. We drew a record number of over 800 guests each year.
